Cleaning of decks and exterior woods is one of the most popular services of pressure washing.  It is also the MAIN process of properly maintaining and beautifying your investment.  If you have exterior wood features or decks it is recommended to have it cleaned and sealed before the wood is damaged.  Properly restoring exterior wood features or decks is a much easier process providing the wood is still in good condition and can save the homeowner thousands of dollars in replacement or treatment costs if done on a regular basis. 

The first process of cleaning the exterior wood or decking is to determine the type of wood.  Pressure washing wood can be a dangerous task as wood is very soft and can be shredded by a pressure washer not using the proper water pressure.  Different woods require different water pressure.
